I expected something... special for 60 bucks. What I got was a bowl made in Indonesia. It's nice enough I guess so I'll keep it, but I have a hard time justifying the price. If it hadn't been bought with a gift certificate I'd return it. For the brand and the price, it should at least be made in Japan. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print they tell you it's made in Indonesia, but I honestly didn't even think to look.

The shape is elegant and the lines are clean, which is what I was looking for, but the porcelain doesn't seem especially nice or anything.

Dishwasher, microwave and even oven? safe.

Unless you're in love with the picture, pass. What you see is what you get.
