A recent addition to Noritake's Legendary collection, Regina Platinum is bound to become a bridal favorite. The border of each piece is covered with a delicate white-on-white scrolling vine design that exudes the feel of Victorian lace. Adding a modern touch is the narrow platinum band embellishing the rim, in which lies a tiny repeating design resembling a diamond solitaire. A pencil-thin platinum line defines the inner circumference. The overall effect is one of beauty and grace.
This set consists of one five-piece place setting: a dainty footed teacup, 6-inch saucer, 6-3/8-inch bread-and-butter plate, 8-1/4-inch salad or dessert plate, and 10-1/2-inch dinner plate. Noritake makes Regina Platinum out of fine translucent porcelain which is stronger than most consumers realize. Though intended for formal occasions, the dinnerware certainly can hold up to the rigors of everyday use. The platinum precludes use in a microwave, and, while dishwasher-safe, the china is best cared for when washed by hand. --Ann Bieri

Great Set. Very Elegant. Got Lots of compliments on them. You Can get them Cheaper at B,B&Beyond, especially when you use the 20% off coupon.A few of the the pieces have a small section where the metallic isn't as shiny. like the glaze isn't covering that spot. But it is a third the price of the runner up set.

This china has a beautiful pattern that is hard to see in photos. I love serving my guests with these dishes.
