I admit I'm a huge fan of Jantze's work, but this collection reminds me again why I enjoy reading the strip. It's funny! The artwork is top notch as always and we get to learn a bit more about Reine Stark, the Ying to Norm's Yang. Special guest appearances by Sting and Garrison Keillor, a trip to Hawaii after a fake engagement, an ex-girlfriend in the mix, and you have the makings of an incredible year for our hero Norm. It's an Everyman soap opera that plays out without all the endless pensive gazes. Get this boxed set and enjoy a few hours of fun with the funnies.

I'm a huge fan of Michael Jantze's comic "the Norm" and I've missed it greatly since he ended it a few years ago. Luckily I have this collection to feed my Norm addiction. The artwork, while simple, is always excellently drawn and the strip is consistently funny day after day, which is high praise for any comic strip. In this collection we get to the see the continued development of the characters, and watch as Norm and Reine grow together. If you've never read the strip before pick up this collection and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
