I bought this lamp to replace a $10 Wal-Mart desk lamp in my office. It looks nice and I doubt most people will be able to tell by looking at this lamp I only spent $50. I am fairly sure that it is plastic, and it stinks a little. After I put it together I had to wash my hands because they smelled so bad. Since it is made in China, odds are its just all the lead lol.

All in all, I am happy with this purchase and I think it will work great until I can afford to spend the $300 the better lamps cost.

It is not a bad product, but doesn't have the finish of a Tiffany-style lamp. The glass looks rather 'plastick-y.' However, works great and arrived on time.
