Very shoddy work, "cheap and unworkable product from China". The neck of this lamp is not attached properly to it's base, so it keeps falling down. The plastic around the neck and the base is chipped. May be some lucky customers got their lamps from other manufactures. I had a lamp that looked like this one (without organizer, but I do not care about this much), and it lasted for 10 years. This one was a disaster the moment I opened the package. If you really want to buy something like this, do not do it through internet, since there is no way to know where it comes from. The only good thing is that I bought it through amazon, and I can get a refund.

very creative design came today plugged it in and loved it adjustable neck and holders for pencils and sticky notes lucks like it belongs in a fun house!

I received this lamp 2 weeks ago, but it came with broken base. The base is made of cheap plastic. Also the organizer is not stick to the base.
I requested for the replacement, and the amazon put it in 1 day shipping.
I am satisfied with excellent customer service. HOWEVER, it came with another broken base. EXACTLY THE SAME with the first one.
Customer service is excellent, but what's the use if the products are CHEAP?
I requested for refund now. DONT ORDER THIS LAMP, no matter how many bubble wraps there are, the material of the lamp is TOO CHEAP.

I'm going to let you shine especially through all the all-nighters I will be pulling. It has slots at the base where I put my post-its and pens so I dont hafta search through my desk to find them. Very sleek coloring. Lightning is terrific!

This lamp gets so hot when turned on that you burn yourself on it. Complete waste of money due to it being a safety hazard.

i purchased this lamp for my kidds. actually after i got it i found it seems to look like an used product...but overall it still works ok.

To the price, my hint is...you might check walmart before you order it.

I would give this a zero star rating but can't on this site. Mine came with a broken base because it's so cheap. The head of the lamp is way too heavy for the base so it can't stand upright. This product is simply so badly made that it should not be sold by Amazon. Shame on you!

Not aesthetic as picure. Also has a tendency to fall over, unless well balanced with stem. Lost one bulb to such a circumstance.

I needed a small desk lamp that I could use to help me read some faint text on some old documents. This lamp works great and the organizer in the base is a real bonus. The only drawback is that the on/off switch is located on the cord which makes it a little harder to reach than if it were on the base. I like that it uses compact fluorescent bulbs (equivalent 60 watt max.) and doesn't get too hot even when it has been on for a couple of hours. Its short height is perfect for my needs.
