A jar lifter, a magnetic lid lifter, two canning funnels, sterilizing rack, canning rack, and natural cheese cloth. To safely remove hot jars and lids after they've been sterilized in boiling water, use the jar lifter to pick up the jars and the magnetic lid lifter to easily remove the lids, with no risk of burned fingers. Choose from two canning funnels. The wide mouth canning funnel directs ingredients into the jar quickly and cleanly and offers a wide design that accommodates both regular and wide-mouth jars. The narrow 6 inch funnel is excellent for straining into narrow jars and comes with a detachable strainer. Also available is our sterilizing rack that holds 12 canning lids, and our canning rack which is designed to hold jars as you lower and raise them from your cooking pot. (Holds up to 7 quart or 7 pint jars; 12-inch diameter fits most pots- keeps jars from touching each other or the canner). Made of steel and features elongated handles on either side for ease of use.

I already have the red plastic canning kit - this is a great upgrade. It's a good and very complete canning set. The stainless steel is easier to clean and sterilize. Love the funnel with its filter insert. I love the lid holder. And the added natural cheesecloth was great, too. Like the other reviewer stated, the canning rack is huge. You'd need a full-sized pot to make it work, so if you're getting this what that item in mind, be aware.

When people in other comments say the rack is "large," they mean it has a 12" diameter. Check your pots before buying! We haven't had much chance to use it all yet, but everything seems to be of good quality.

not at all what I expected. The canning rack did not fit nicely in my large pot. And once it was used, it rusted at all the seams, leaving my nice stainless steel pot with rust marks as well, that eventually came off with time spent scrubbing. The lid holder as well began to tarnish after the first use. Aren't these items meant to be placed in boiling water for a good amount of time? So they really shouldn't be rusting or tarnishing. Everything else worked fine because it did not need to be placed in water for any duration of time.

Great set of basic canning supplies, everything you need to get started except a book. The only thing I'd say is that the rack is quite a bit larger than I expected from the description - you need a full-size canning pot to use it. Otherwise everything was great, just as described and good quality.

All of the components are good quality except for the rack ... it is NOT stainless.
It started to rust with the first use. I paid $70+ for my canning pot and the rack put rust marks at the bottom of my pot. So I am really disappointed in this.

I decided to start canning the veggies from my garden this summer and went to Amazon to purchase all the things I would need. When I saw this product I thought, "how convenient - all the accessories packaged together". When I purchase a package like this I expect that I am going to save a little money as compared to buying each item seperately. NOT SO. If you want the products in this package, buy them seperately and you will save $6.67 (as of June 2012). Granted, it was not even $7, but the whole reason I decided to start canning was to save money. These items were literally thrown together into a plastic bag and for that convenience I paid an extra $6.67. I feel like I was just ripped off and I hate that feeling.
