These are almost all the same, but this one does seem a bit better.

Maybe it's just because it's brand new. Maybe it's because it's bamboo instead of whatever kind of wood most of them are. Maybe it's because my last one was plastic, and the wooden ones are better. Or maybe I was just so happy to receive a new one after several months of not having one. Whatever the case, this thing is an absolute pleasure to use. I'd recommend it to anyone who needs to juice small-to-medium amounts of citrus.

Got this to replace our excellent lost wooden citrus reamer. In my opinion, everyone who uses citrus juice in cooking or drinks needs a bamboo or wooden citrus reamer. The bamboo is even better than the wooden one we had since the edges are a bit sharper.
Overall, both wood and bamboo far outshine the glass reamer in terms of cost, ease of use, fast cleanup, and the ability to get all the juice from a half of a citrus fruit. The mechanical juicer takes up too much space & lacks portability, uses electricity, is SO much harder / time-consuming to clean, and leaches plastic into the juice.
The bamboo version gets all the juice out and is a snap to clean since all it takes is a quick rinse and dries quickly in a dish drainer or dishwasher rack. No need to wash with soap, which is great since who wants soap in her citrus juice?

I like this reamer because it's made out of bamboo. It's a little less messy than squeezing the citrus with your hand and gets more juice out.

Nice Tool
I have not had any experience with Bamboo. This tool feels solid in the had. Has nice sharp edges and so far I'm very happy with it. I just rinse it off and put in the drainer. Read more
