My husband finally makes good coffee!

He kept using different sized spoons or scoops or measuring cups and it was driving me bonkers. Never knew whether I was getting my expensive organic decaf strong enough to grow hair or weak enough to mistake for tea. He's such a sweetie to get up and make it, though, so I wasn't about to criticize. Just quietly bought this new scoop which absolutely delights him with the uniformity of the blend. It's also very handy that it has a clip that can be used to hold the bag shut, it's heavy enough to be pleasing to hold in your hand. Longer than some might like - but hey, it hasn't gotten lost yet in my house, and my house eats ANYTHING.

Useful gadget for coffee lovers

Nice Scoop

As far as coffee scoops go, this is it. This is my second one, I had bought one at a specialty kitchen store and it has since closed and moved away, but Amazon is the man and has it. The clip is my favorite part. The bags come with the plastic and metal closer devices, but towards the end of the bag of coffee, they start to fail and this scoop solves that problem. As for it being my second one, I started a coffee mess at work to cut back on the cost of $3.25 a day habit and I donated my first one to the cause, but still enjoy coffee at home on the weekends. I would recommend this scoop to any coffee fan.

It is so much fun to find a little gadget that makes your life a bit easier in one way or another. I used to just kind of dump a bit of coffee into the coffee pot and get mixed results, because I would always misplace the spoon. Now it is attached to the bag, and it makes me feel so organized and put together in the mornings! Ha! (Nothing could be further from the truth, but hey, I love my illusions!)

Yep. It's a spoon. Measures the coffee well. But, wait! It's also a clip to keep your coffee bag closed and fresh!

I hated that my coffee bag would not stay closed, even with new tape every day! Grr.... Now the bag stays closed and I have a nice little spoon to measure my coffee.
