I use this for attaching service tags to equipment. If there is ever a kitten apocalypse, you could throw this into the oncoming herd to distract them and possibly save yourself. (Sorry, but who can write 20 words about how good a ball of twine is?)

I purchased this twine for all my roasting needs as well as for crafts projects. It is just what I needed and at a fraction of the cost of other retailers. Highly recommend.

Made in China and has a bad smell. Package is not hermetically sealed. I don't know if the smell is from the manufacturing process or if the cotton absorbed it from the factory shipping carton. It's going back.

The twine does the job, but I would have preferred something thinner. It was so thick that it slipped right off the shanks before I could even brown them off for osso bucco.

Oh, and since the product description fails to mention, MADE IN CHINA.

I use this string to tie up tea bags. It's considerably cheaper and better-tasting to buy loose tea, string, and perforated coffee filters to tie your own little tea "satchels" than it is to buy pre-made tea bags. This string fulfills that role.

No, it's Not! It's TWINE!

But it's good twine, sold cheap and packaged conveniently.

So I'm using an exclamation point in describing it!

(Will purchase again, both brand and seller)

Unbleached twine perfect for trussing and tying. It was easy to find the end and pulls evenly off the ball and it works so much better than the twine i would recycle from cake boxes from my local bakery. This twine is thick enough that it is easy to handle and easy to tie and it is unbleached and FOOD SAFE.

This Thanksgiving I tried something new and cut up my Thanksgiving turkey and boned and rolled the breasts and tied them. I cooked according to directions I found on line and it was delicious and so easy to serve. For Christmas I used this to tie a whole fillet prior to pan searing and made a wonderful Beef Wellington. This simple ball of twine was a big help.

I’ve been looking for this type of twine, specifically made to tie poultry and meat, but I just haven’t been able to find it anywhere. And, when I ask the bubble-gum-chewing-and-otherwise-distracted teen sales clerks, none of them knows what I am talking about. I am probably being too cynical, but it’s true, more often than not. Since I was weary of using ordinary twine (and picking brown particles out of the chicken), and slipping around with dental floss, I was thrilled to find this on Amazon. It is absolutely perfect, and it easily ties together the legs of a chicken, allowing it to brown more evenly and it keeps the stuffing inside a turkey, without using various types of weird-looking and dangerous metal prongs and spears. Everyone who makes chicken, meat, turkey and so on, should have plenty of this on hand, as it will make the finished product evenly brown, and keep everything in place, for a beautiful presentation of the table.

This is a food safe twine that is made of unbleached cotton. This roll provides 220 feet/67 meters of twine, and it's thick enough to use for roasting meats.

I have used this for decorating baked goods too, tying twine around brownies and cookie bars. It's a little too thick for delicate decorations, but I appreciate the multi-purpose uses for cooking, roasting, and decorating baked goods. This was cheaper than my local Walmart.

It's basic kitchen twine, so there's nothing flashy or exciting about it. This brand is thick and heavy, and so far I've used it to truss a chicken and make braciole. It worked really well, and it's not flimsy. I didn't have to worry that it wouldn't hold up, which is exactly what you look for in kitchen twine. I think this spool will last a long time too! Highly recommend!
