I love to bake, but in the past, I'd been hesitant to make apple-based baked goods due to the huge amount of time and effort necessary to core, peel, and slice the apples. I'd always wanted to try one of this little peeler gizmos, so finally, I broke down and bought one. I'm so glad I did--it works great! This amazing little gadget is so simple to use in just three easy steps:

1) Attach the peeler to your counter with the suction cup.
2) Press the apple firmly into the holder.
3) Turn the handle until the apple pushes all the way through for a perfectly cored, peeled, and sliced apple. (You can also pull back the peeling blade for sliced apples with the peels kept on.)

This has got to be one of my best speciality kitchen gadgets, and I use it much more often than you would think--it's great not only for apple pies, but also for apple muffins, apple pancakes, apple cobblers, and much more.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves cooking and baking with apples.

I purchased the norpro apple peeler and corer after I watched a friend use

hers.I enjoy making apple pies and this peeler makes it a hundred times easier.

I love everything about it. You can peel, core and slice 8 apples is less

than 10 minutes and the slices are all uniform. I cleans in a snap. If you like to bake using

apples this peeler is a must have.

I AM 55 WITH MS AND MY GRANDMOTHER TAUGHT ME HOW TO COOK. ALL MY LIFE I HAVE PEALED HUNDREDS OF APPLES AND POTATOES BY HAND. NOT ANY MORE. I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW WELL THIS PRODUCT WORKS. AND IT WAS EFFORTLESS. JUST PUT A LITTLE WATER UNDER SUCTION CUP AND IT STICKS TO THE COUNTER FOR THE ENTIRE JOB. THIS PRODUCT DESERVES RAVE REVIEWS.

A couple of months ago I purchased the Norpro peeler, slicer, corer. It is so slick and easy and now I eat more apples. Takes about 1 minute to do everything. Then rinse it off and put it away. The peal comes off evenly to discard and the pieces of apple come off like pineapple in perfect slices. Last year I bought a Norpro teapot from Amazon.com that I really like and I am pleased with that also. I guess I am becoming a Norpro fan!

I don't give many products reviews, but we just picked up this nifty little gadget on a vacation to the blue ridge mountains. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use, ease of clean up and the quality of the apples produced. It peels, cores and slices apples in just a few seconds. All you have to do is slice the whole cored and peeled apple down the middle and use it in pies, salads, and my favorite, apple s'mores (just take a graham cracker, put a marshmallow on top, bake it for a few minutes till the marshmallow gets soft, put a slice of apple on top, then top it all with yummy caramel sauce. Yum.) I now plan on buying a load of apples for canning and drying. I very much recommend this product.

I love this machine. I use it almost everyday because my son loves apples. It is easy, works perfectly, and easily cleans up. I am a little concerned that a couple of the screws are starting to rust from the washing but other than that, I have no complaints. Great product!!

I don't love to cook anything but it's a necessity. I have the most fabulous recipe for fruit compote that we use each morning on our hot cereal. This recipe uses 6 apples and I used to moan and groan each time I ran out of our favorite compote. I love this apple peeler. My husband peels the apples and I cut up everything else for the recipe. Used to take 1 hour now it's 15 minutes. Best time saver beyond my washer/dryer.

I bought one to replace the one I broke that I borrowed from someone, and bought one for myself. They're so much fun to play with! Love apples? Baking something with apples? Get one!

Works as described, even on larger apples. I haven't tried it on potatoes yet.

It is well-constructed, solid, and simple to use. The clamp keeps the unit stable and unmoving.

If you make pies, applesauce or dried apples, this is a kitchen necessity.
