Purchased one of these tongs & after receiving them quickly ordered more. They are the PERFECT size for appetizers, ice, petits fours, bonbons, chocolate truffles, olives, baby dill pickles, etc., I even used them for tossing shaved roast beef in a skillet for a cheese steak sandwich. The best things about these tongs...they are attractive & have short handles that make them perfect for appetizers in small dishes & plates, rather than the over-powering handles (of most tongs) that seem out of place. I would highly recommend these for anyone that entertains...be it small or large groups, or to anyone that just likes things to be...just so!!

The perfect size for guests to use. Put them out with platters of food, they look good and they work.

These look really nice, however I did not realize how small they were. I bought them to use for salads and for turning wings baked in the oven. I guess I need something more like 10"?

Nice polished piece, looks good on any serving buffet. The handles operate smoothly and they work well with small hands, not a big swing on the scissor end that needs large hands to operate. I find them useful in the kitchen when pulling cooked chicken off the bone for serving and picking apart the remains of the turkey. Keeps me from getting burned and work better than forks or any other tongs I've tried.

I bought these tongs mainly to serve small salads but I can see myself buying another pair for when a have a small party, a couple of these will come in handy.

A spoon or a fork is just plain awkward for asparagus. These are perfect for serving and look great on the table. Fabulous price, too!

Great for small appetizers and dessert. I sometimes use it to serve salad but please note that this is not a full size tong.
