The cake-Sicle pan was awesome. I bought this to use as an activity for the kids at my son's first birthday party and they loved it. The adults loved it too, heck I loved it. The pan is so easy to use. You can use cake batter or brownie batter or even cookie batter. We made brownies and cookies because they seem to hold up better on the popcicle sticks. We decorated them...

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money
Fine if you want to make krispie treats or chocolate chip cookies pops but cake?....forget it. I tried several recipes but the all slid off the stick the minute I held it up. Sorry I bought two pans in order to make enough pops for my daughter's summertime bday party. Don't waste your money. The ice cream cone cupcakes is a much better idea. Bake the cake in the ice...

We decorated them with frosting, sprinkles, caramel, mini chocolate chips, and oreo's. I would definately reccommend this to anyone having a kids party. It's great. A tip would be to use 1/8 cup to measure the batters. That seem to be the best to make them even.

First I'd like to note that the pan I got came with a small package of popsicle sticks so you might want to hold off on buying them separately. Unless they've changed the packaging, it's not necessary.

We've made these several times and I agree that it works best with brownies or a more dense cake otherwise the sticks tend to pop out.

This high-quality pan is an excellent way to make normal cookies or cupcakes more interesting and fun. I just wish more cake-sicle recipes were available with the pan (only three on the box itself) or on-line.

3.0 out of 5 stars trouble on a stick, February 26, 2009
This review is from: Norpro Nonstick Cake-Sicle Pan with 24 Sticks (Kitchen)
I just tried my first recipe with this new pan and I was soooo disappointed. I used a butter cake mix and the weight of the icing made it too heavy for the stick and the cake sank to the bottom of the stick. I tried sticking the cake-sicles in a piece of foam for a cute presentation and the sticks came through the cake. I'm not ready to give up yet, I just won't try cake again. The Rice Krispies Treats look good though, but I could have shaped them without the pan. Maybe I should have used a denser kind of cake mix.

this was not what i expected used pre made cookie dough, and it was a mess......the sticks would not hold they kept tearing out of the cookie. I would suggest not even use this form and just buy the Popsicle sticks and insert the sticks into the cookie dough and by pass this pan together. used it once and put it in a garage sale...save your money

I just bought this. We made the cakes OK but haven't been able to make them stay on the sticks. I'm sure we will improve.

The idea is great and probably will work someday when I master the concept. The cakes ripped off the sticks so I'm guessing I used too much batter. Hopefully I'll figure it out before I really need them since they will be great if it works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Popsicle Cake Was A Hit!, May 28, 2009
This review is from: Norpro Nonstick Cake-Sicle Pan with 24 Sticks (Kitchen)
Had a popsicle party for my 2 yr old. Easy to do! Just make sure the cake is set or the sticks will break right through the cake. Loved IT & so did my guests
