This is one of the first canners I've found to work on my glass top stove. I'm still working on getting the water levels correct for the number of jars I have in there, but over-all great product.

I got this pot for my first foray into canning. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It's attractive, sturdy, and I'm sure it will last me many years. I have an electric glass top stove and the flat bottom is necessary.
However, there are two main issues I have with this pot. The first is that if you're using quart sized jars, and your recipe (like mine) tells you to make sure that there's at least an inch of water above the jar while you're processing it, this pot isn't tall enough for rolling boiling water one inch above a quart sized jar sitting in a canning rack. The second thing is, if your recipe (again, like mine) tells you to put the lid on while processing, the aluminum rim on the pot and it's lid do not have any kind of seal under them. When you're processing, if you have the lid on, condensation runs down the lid and into the lip where the lid sits, and fills it, until it starts dripping down the side of the pot. If you're canning with pint sized jars, this may not be an issue, the water might just fall back down into the pot if it's not full near the top. Other than that, the pot is great.

This is a good canning pot you can even order the rack witch is quality also.I would recommend this to friends and other buyers. This is made of a thick gauge metal not a thin one that's not going to hold up to weight of heavy jars and water, handles are well made lid is tight and heavy for the price its a good buy considering how long these pots last.

This pot fits perfectly on the large burner on my glass top stove. It is much better looking and looks more contemporary than the old speckled enamel ones. Works great.

I received this canning pot on Friday and I already used it this weekend. I made pickled cauliflower and I have many more canning projects to use with this pot (applesauce, strawberry jam, and marmalade are next). It's perfect for pints and half pints....for quarts, I believe that you will barely be able to cover the tops (however, I am NOT going to buy another canning pot - I bought a steam canner after not doing enough research, then I bought this one - I'm not going to be that crazy lady with 3 different BWB canning pots!) I haven't tested it with quarts yet. Since I had the rack from my steam canner, I did not buy the Norpro canning rack (which I may still buy to see if quarts fit better in this pot with that rack). When I do, I will update this review. It's sturdy and well made; just as an FYI, it can be heavy after you fill it up with water.

I just received this pot and I must say I like it. I has a completely flat bottom which is why I wanted it.Using this pot and my Norpro rack, I canned pickles in pint jars yesterday (capacity was 7 wide mouth pint jars.) It worked well on my glass top range. However, there is an overall issue: The box and description say that the pot holds quart jars, but it is not tall enough for regular mouth quart jars! The most I can get is about 5/8" of water above the quart jars without overflowing the pot when the water is boiling. I have not tried wide-mouth jars yet, but I expect that I'll get about 3/4". This is an issue because you're supposed to have at least 1" of water above the jars to process them properly. So, with this pot and my Norpro rack, I can basically only can pint jars (Norpro rack is too wide at the bottom for 1/2 pint jars.) A bit of a bummer.

I love this product. It was the perfect canner for my glasstop stove because of the canner's flat bottom. The canning rack made it so easy. I received my canner in just a few days and in 2 weeks time, I canned 42 quarts of green beans. I'm very satisfied.
