Bought when replacing older utensils. When I received, wasn't sure if I'd like, it seemed flimsy to be pricey. I have a crock for my spoons, spatulas, whisks etc by my work area and over the months I have found this scoop to be quite handy. Because the edges are pliable, they mold to the shape of the container you are scooping from. Last night I had a thick entree sauce that was made in a 9/13 pan. This scoop easily picked up every LAST drop to drizzle over chicken servings. If you want the last of any jar or container, this is the utensil to purchase. The handle is long enough to use on mayo and peanut butter jars without getting any on your fingers. You'll use it in other ways - scrapping cake batter, muffin & cornbread mixes, dressings, etc. My scoop is a year old & looks brand new. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.
