Very sturdy donut cutter. It is 2 3/4" (which I wish the discription would have stated. I thought it was bigger, I was hoping for at least 3 1/2") Besides that fact, the cutter is sharp and makes great cuts. Very well made, easy to use.

Well, it cuts biscuits and donuts OK, but for the price and looking at the picture, I thought it would be sturdier. I don't know, I'm a little disappointed in the quality. I wouldn't buy it again.

Thought this would work looking at picture of it's sturdy craftsmanship, but the middle hole cutter slips out when using it unless you turn it counter clockwise as you are cutting- can only be used as a circle cutter, don't advise getting this to make donuts, especially since there are less expensive versions out there that actually work!

My mom had a doughnut/biscuit cutter similar to this when I was growing up. It's easy to use and versatile, meaning fewer gadgets taking up precious drawer space in the kitchen. The assembly makes cleaning a breeze, and the stainless construction stays bright.

Sturdy steel construction -- not aluminum, which is a plus. It's sharp and cuts dough cleanly. I haven't used it for donuts yet, just biscuits and cookies. As other reviews have mentioned, the center cutter doesn't 'lock in' tight like they do in those old-fashioned cutters.

My ex-mother-in-law gave me this recipe for donuts back in 1966. I made donuts for a few years and then forgot all about the recipe. Found the recipe but could not find a donut cutter in any store here in Volusia County, Fl. Found this on-line, purchased it, have made donuts twice since I received it and the only problem I have had with it, is the center comes out while making donuts. But I put it back together and awaY I go again. It works great. I just can't figure out why there aren't any stores that carry a "donut" cutter, they carry biscuit cutters.

This is a very nice heavy duty item and well made. Yes there are some larger cutters here on Amazon. Just keep looking for the 3" one if you need them larger. But I find that this one works just great. Besides you can use it for both donuts and biscuits.

Our family ordered 3 of the Norpro Donut Cutters and started our own family tradition...grandma, mom, dad and grandsons spent a Saturday afternoon making 19 dozen donuts. We had a blast and the cutters worked wonderfully!

Top quality. Works like a champ. It's as advertised and delivered on time. What more would you ask for?
Having used it, I had no problems with it (such as the "hole" part coming undone when you didn't want it undone.

Since there is no opening in the top, I found it hard to release donuts once I cut them... this despite greasing and flouring the donut cutter. I have had better luck with donut cutters that have an opening from above through which one can gently push the donut through if it becomes stuck (Ateco makes such a product). I will be demoting this donut cutter to biscuit cutter (by removing the area that cuts the hole, I can release stuck biscuits from above... (my biscuit dough is less sticky anyway). Not recommended.
