Amazon.com

Norpro makes this baking sheet of heavy-gauge, 18/0 stainless steel to stand up to the needs of the dedicated home baker. This is not an insulated sheet, nor does it have a nonstick finish. Perfectly flat, the sheet features a slight rim on three sides, with one short end left open for sliding off baked goods with ease. Great for baking cookies, pastries, biscuits, pizza, frozen fries, warming pot pies, and more, the sheet will soon become an indispensable part of your baking accessories. After use, clean in hot, soapy water and use a nylon scrubber if necessary. Norpro makes the baking sheet in two sizes: 13 by 17 inches and 12 by 15 inches. --Ann Bieri

Product Description

Bake cookies, pastries, biscuits and rolls, pizza, tater tots and fries, or use to reheat hot sandwiches. Features a flat end for sliding off baked goods quickly and easily with no mess.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Baking Sheet January 4, 2007
Size Name:12 Inch x16 Inch|Amazon Verified Purchase
I use these to bake batches of cookies and its so easy to clean. I like the size of the sheet; I can fit 4 of them in the oven on two oven racks; a real time saver when baking a large batch of cookies. The sheet feels more of a heavier weight gauge than the stainless sheets I've used before which I imagine the sheets will last me years. Great product, highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super easy to clean! January 4, 2007
Size Name:14 Inch x 12 Inch
I really love these pans - the size is small but that is not really a drawback because I can get 2 of them on one oven rack, so they really give me more flexibility than a larger pan. They still look brand new after about 6 months of use and clean up so easily! I avoid "nonstick" coatings as they always end up peeling off and I am not convinced they are safe, especially peeling, and sometimes you have to live with some sticking that way. But with a light greasing, cookies slide right off these pans even without that yukky teflon coating that so many cookie pans have. Definitely a winner!

2.0 out of 5 stars Wish I'd paid the extra ten bucks for that other brand. February 21, 2011
By Matt S.
Size Name:14 Inch x 12 Inch
Before I bought this cookie sheet, I noticed a couple other reviews about some "glue" being tough to get off. This didn't sound like a big deal to me - how hard could it really be to get rid of a little adhesive? Well, my cookie sheet arrived, and I saw that yes, there was a paper label attached to the sheet with a blob of glue right in the middle... and I've now wasted more than an hour trying to get that "blob" to come off the pan. First I tried scrubbing it with dish soap and hot water, but that just spread the adhesive into a wider patch on my pan. A friend advised using vinegar and baking soda so I tried that - no good. Someone else said to use alcohol - that didn't work either. The last piece of advice I got, the best so far, was to use Vaseline (strangely enough). The Vaseline got rid of MOST of the adhesive - but I'm still left with an ugly mark in the middle of the pan, and the metal around that mark is all scuffed up from the scouring pad I had used.

Another thing I noticed when I received the baking sheet was that there was some "crusty" stuff (spilled adhesive??) along 2 of the sides/edges. I can't get this stuff off either - I guess it's not as big of a deal because it won't come into contact with baked goods, but it's not what you'd expect of a brand new product.

Overall, I'm irritated because I bought this cookie sheet to avoid toxic chemicals from those non-stick/teflon products, but ended up getting this insanely indestructible adhesive anyway, that I'm sure isn't safe to bake. (I did end up making cookies that day, after covering up the adhesive splotch with a piece of foil. The cookies came out the same way they did on my regular aluminum jelly roll sheets, so I'm not sure what makes this pan "special" for cookies.) It also makes me a little paranoid that this pan is made in China, when China's track record has been pretty sketchy when it comes to using unsafe materials. I am now thinking of buying this pan, which is made in the USA: http://www.amazon.com/American-Kitchen-Stainless-Steel-Cookie/dp/B002T44Z0Q/

3.0 out of 5 stars stainless steel cookie sheet...stainless steel?
Poor quality stainless, magnet sticks to it. Still, I know it is superior to the quality of baking sheets available in most stores.

I love my pans. I ordered them because they are stainless steel and the size I wanted. I have looked all over for stainless steel pans.
