Description states tamper is 2" in diameter (52mm), it's not. Actual measure is 1 & 15/16ths, or 49mm. Now I see that measurement in the technical details & wish I had seen it earlier as I have one of these weird-sized espresso cups.

Otherwise it appears to be quality, wish I could keep it.

Pretty nice scoop/tamper combo. We use it with our espresso machine and it works great, stopped using any other spoons and tampers. One thing I would prefer if it is solid material and not hallow in the middle. This is not big deal but it would feel little bit more solid.

I bought this and the scoop is not 2 tbs. which is the standard espresso measure. The tamper is rounded and really should be flat.
With that said, I still like it. I would recommend!

I purchased two of these after measuring the opening of the "portafilter" on my espresso machine. Previously, I was using whatever was handy to pack the coffee.

The tamper is well made, and works great to pack the coffee tight. MyKitchCo has a great price on it and shipped it quickly.

I wish the bottom was flat instead of semi-rounded, but otherwise it works very well

After using items around my kitchen and putting off buying a "pricey" item I gave in. I figured I may as well get something durable.

Money well spent. It's worth every penny.

It has a rounded tamp edge so it packs the coffee perfectly and the scoop measures just enough for 1 or 2 servings. In other words, the scoop doesn't overload and you spill coffee everywhere.

This tool is a solid investment if you love espresso - it is easy to use and since it's all one piece, makes for easier scooping and tamping.

Sure wish I had brought it sooner!
