These are great little tart shells.

The edges of these tins are really sharp - be very careful when taking your tartlets out of the tins.

Pros:
Tins work as advertised

Cons:
Quality Control

Bottom Line:
These tins work fine for the sandbakkels I made, but having to throw away all of one design of the tin due to factory defects made me rate them a 3. Yes, I could have returned them, but I needed them that week and didn't have time to do so (not to mention they are inexpensive). The defect was corrosion on the tins from the factory that couldn't be cleaned off, almost like something corrosive dripped on the tins.

I have used the tins 5 or 6 times each now with no issue. The tin is non-stick when hot and sandbakkels are about half butter anyway, so they don't stick at all. The good tins are good and should last a long time.

I got these little tartlet tins as a gift and have used them a number of times times. If you use a dough with plenty of butter, you don't even need to butter them - just push slightly on the sides of the tins and the tartlets pop right out. The tartlets come out beautifully.

A couple of items to watch out for, however:
1. The edges of these tins are really sharp - be very careful when taking your tartlets out of the tins. I've had cuts on my fingers each time. I suggest using rubber gloves when taking out the tartlets.
2. Don't keep them in water for any length of time - these tins rust quickly. After about a year of owning them, many of mine have rusted because I didn't dry them immediately after washing.

Other than these cons, these are great. I'm considering buying myself another set to replace the rusted tins.

These are great little tart shells. No need to butter/flour these if you're using proper dough tart recipe.

I like the size of these, they are nice two-three bite tartlet tins. They don't release as well as I'd like, even with traditional pate sucree so next time will butter the tins first.

Love these! Good value! I used them to tin punch words and created unique Christmas ornaments as gifts! The only con is that the edges are a bit sharp, could be solved by sanding them a little bit! Otherwise great!

These little tins I've used twice now. No spray needed you just squeeze them slightly and the tarts come right out. I did not find them so sharp as to cut me as one reviewer stated. I made one pie crust recipe, cut in small circles and pressed into the tins. Very simple and easy. I dry them well to protect from rust and think they are great for the money and can be used for crafting as well.
