Great books for young child's initial steps into geography,

We bought the entire set of these books for our daughter ( who was five at the time) and she loves them. They are great for young learners and offer benefits for both early reading skills and gaining an interest in the world. I was expecting them to be larger, but was disappointed to see how thin they were when they arrived. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by them since then. They are small and not so much reference books as brief introductions to the various continents. We read them a lot at bed time and it's amazing how much my daughter has learned from them. Between these books and the sheppard software web site she has a great head start in geography!
