The screen saver is a Windows Multimedia Screen-Saver which displays 40 images (in a slideshow format) of wildlife in various seasons and conditions. It comes on a CD and supports Windows and Windows95, (it does not work withMacIntosh at this time). It is installable via the Windows Utilities (very easy on the user!), and includes both the 640X480 and 1024X768 resolutions. It supports sound (with a sound card and speakers) and password protection. The sound portion is a new age piece with nature sounds mixed in. Identifying titles accompany each image.

I wanted to make a collection of images that would help increase awareness of the fragility of nature and the need to protect our natural treasures. Having nature visible among our daily work world in the form of a screen saver is a good way to remind us of the beauty in the world. Also, the combination of beautiful pictures, soothing music, and sounds of nature are a wonderful way to relax and take some of the stress out of the working day. The packaging is minimal in keeping with this environmentally friendly theme. I do not use an unnecessary box, only a cover, and a label for closure.
