NCAA North Carolina Tar Heels Garden Gnome

I purchased this for one of my dearest friends who is a former Tar Heel, but is now living in Southern California. To say she loved this gift would be an understatement. Everyone at the party, Tar Heel or not, loved the gnome and wanted to hold it. I have to admit, it's very cute.

I love this guy!! He arrived today and was immediately placed in my new gnome garden. I was never into gnomes, but my younger sister is, so I decided to create a spot in a wooded area of the back yard of a house I moved into 2 months ago. Carolina Karl is my 5th gnome. One observation, my gnome is different in appearance from the photo on the Amazon website. The Logo on the cap is different (just UNC - not UNC Tarheels with Ramses), and the shoes are black pointed-toe high top sneakers!! Perfect! A basketball playing gnome! Better than the one in the photo. UNC '77.
