Love this author - he really makes me want to travel. Well written and interesting with intrigue at every turn and lots of suspense.

He has done it again. I liked "66 Degrees North" even more than the first book in the Fire and Ice series. I thought I got to know Magnus better in this book and I enjoyed getting to know Magnus the man rather than just the detective. Again I finished reading the book very quickly which is a testimony to Ridpath's clever use of English and how easy his books are to read. I like this series as I like the descriptions of Iceland, but I really like his writing style and I am looking forward to the next tale about Magnus Ragnarson, but I am also looking forward to reading some more of Ridpath's work. His description of Iceland is so good I feel like I have been there and would like to visit the place and experience it for myself. Again I enjoyed this book very much and would recommend it as a quick escape from the daily grind.
