Professional astrologer and Jungian psychotherapist, Elizabeth Spring, weaves personal stories with the astrological wisdom of the North and South Nodes. There are detailed explanations of how to find and understand your own karmic Nodes as well as the life-changing transits that impact your life direction, soul purpose, career and relationships. Elizabeth’s heart-felt chapter on the "Astrology of Menopause" has been re-published around the world, and the humorous chapter "Cocktails and Karma" explores the bridging between astrologers, ministers, and therapists. The “ Family Karmic Inheritance” inspires a compassionate view on family relationships. Endorsed by Jungian author Jim Hollis, and evolutionary astrologer, Steven Forrest, this book is a reference book as well as a collection of articles that shed light on unconscious motivation. An inspiring guide for transmuting the grace and grit of life into the gold of healing and personal success.
Elizabeth Spring, M.A. has a degree in psychology with an emphasis in the work of Carl Jung. She is an astrologer, psychotherapist, and writer living in Wickford, R.I. She was also a potter for many years, working with her husband at Spring Pottery in Newport, R.I.
Elizabeth began her astrological studies in Boston in 1969 with Isabel Hickey and continued her studies with astrologers Steven Forrest, Liz Greene, and Alice Howell. She has been a professional astrologer since 1992 and teaches periodically at the Boston Jung Institute. Her astrology blends Jungian psychology with reincarnational astrology, and her focus is on the hidden message of the North and South Nodes, and the powerful influence of Saturn and the Saturn Returns. In her phone readings, she also emphasizes the "current weather forecast" of the transits and progressions to help clients find focus and reveal the current life patterns and possible solutions.
"When an inner situation is not made conscious,
it happens outside as fate." Carl Jung
My passion for depth astrology began when I first read this quote from Jung. My book, "North Node Astrology; Rediscovering Your Life Direction and Soul Purpose" is a conversational heartfelt book on navigating life's passages, and is written for non-astrologers as well as those familiar with this "language of the soul." Author and analyst, James Hollis, endorsed the book, saying: "Elizabeth provides a rare combination of psychological insight with the metaphors of astrology to illumine the invisible worlds." "Saturn Returns~The Private Papers of a Reluctant Astrologer" was inspired by my life story as a professional astrologer and by questioning the power of predictive astrology--both positive and negative--as well as the unpredictable and potent influence of Saturn in the chart.
