My state (Pa) doesnt feature many dig sites. Thats not exactly the fault of the book or publisher but as a result the book isnt of much use to me. It mostly only lists museums in my area but I could have located most of the sites independently via google.

Northeast Treasure Hunter's Gem & Mineral Guide to the U.S. A. is excellent. This one is for the northeast, plenty of information, mines, directions, etc.

I have the Southeast guide and have visited the sites suggested while on vacation. We are traveling North this time.
