I was really excited to receive this book in preparation for my 2 week vacation in Northern California. However, the book did not provide much insight or hidden secrets as many other travel books have done. I was really disappointed that it barely touched on Yosemite National Park and Lake Tahoe. During my trip I discovered areas in the Central Coast and Central Valley regions that were missed entirely by this book.
