So I've bought the entire northern series by LeBrecqu and aside from some inaccuracies about Alaska (I actually live there) the books are great. So far none of them have been a disapointment and all have entertained me. I like how they build off each other, but can also be read alone. Her female characters aren't whiny or weak, but are certainly flawed but that's fine. I quite like her writing style and would continue to by books from her.

My only complaint about this book was that it dragged in some places and the romance happened basically with lust at first sight which turned to love. The relationship between the two characters happened rather quickly which caused me to roll my eyes at certain points.

Back to my comment on the book dragging in certain places, this was mainly do to secondary characters and their stories that were strewn throughout the book. Still, it's a decent read.
