It does what it is designed for. Needed it for polishing some stainless steel, brass and copper parts. Remember to purchase multiple wheels and to only use a single grade of polish compound per wheel (magic marker works to label them - store each one in a gallon size freezer bag). Extra buffing wheels are not expensive...the parts you are finishing may be a pain or expensive to replace if you accidentially apply too coarse a compound at the wrong time.

Buffer arrived quickly. Ready to run right out of the box. Works great. Only draw back is buffer wheel bolts tend to loosen.

I did a lot of shopping online before buying this buffer. I went to Harbor Freight first and read the reviews for their buffers. It still amazes me that most sites selling tools alow you to write reviews. Harbor Freight's buffers had bad reviews. It is strange that a company couldn't sell a product like this that didn't vibrate like crazy out the box but Harbor Freight wasn't the only one that people reviewed as being wobbly. In short, I must say I read the reviews for all the big brands and big box stores and found this one to be the only one with great reviews. Since recieving it, I must say it is all that the others said. Great power, no vibration and nice buffer pads come with it. Take my advice and skip all the others in this price point and purchase this one.
