This review is from: Northern Industrial Meat Saw
Apparently Northern doesn't actually publish negative reviews on their website, I gave this saw a negative review there and that review never saw the light of day. For whatever reasons all the other reviews for this saw (on their site) are absolutely glowing. Oh well, that can easily be remedied on Amazon's site (which does publish honest, and often negative, reviews). In any case, I bought this saw intending to, of all things, cut and butcher animals. We recently butchered two pigs and when I went to use this saw to cut up the animals it quickly became apparent that this only looks like a meat saw. Past the visual similarities, there is very little else that would lead one to thinking this would actually work. The blade twists and turns trying to cut through bone (well, anything for that matter) and it is basically next to impossible to use for it's intended purpose. To finish the pigs we ended up having to use a cheap backpacker sized meat saw. Do yourself a favor and buy a real meat saw (or get a high quality old one off Ebay). This one is a waste of money.
