Item arrived disassembled; suppose that's the norm. But it arrived without shipping documents, parts list, assembly instruction or any paperwork of any kind telling how to assemble unit or solve problems. I can't discern whether/not all parts were shipped; it appears they were not. Amazon.com website itself disclaims any responsibility in the matter, despite billing my credit card immediately upon receipt of order, and not receiving item until 16 days later.

Make it easy for yourself: find a different source for a cart.

(Jan 14,2010) - Just stumbled onto this old review and in fairness must bump the rating to at least a 4 and say I finally located a parts list and assembly sequence rolled up inside the handle bar on the top shelf. It really holds 600 lbs and has been very helpful when I've needed it. It turns out it wasn't my first bad internet purchase; I was not smart enough to realize instructions might be rolled inside a pipe with 1 inch diameter. Two pieces were damaged on arrival, but it was inconsequential, and nothing as bad as when my brother ran my car into it, in the garage.

I bought this for my father for Father's Day, and he was absolutely thrilled. He loves it; it is exactly what he wanted. I would recommend this to anyone with a mechanic savvy friend or relative, because it is great for hauling tools around. Very durable and sturdy.

When I purchased this utility cart I bought it as the reviews stated how durable/sturdy it is, but, what I received is warped. I've seen sturdier carts. I also purchased it as the picture showed it was a white/off-white color and that color worked for the area I am using it in. Instead, it is a an unsightly dark blue-grey color...like the old tool box colors. I will use it until I find what I want and then this will go to the garage or salvation army. One viewer stated that they bought it for their elderly mother and the mother uses a walker and when she goes to the garage to bring things back into the house, she uses this cart and it doubles as a walker and cart. I WOULD NOT ADVISE THAT! It looks better in the picture. Being warped I don't see it holding 300 lbs per shelf!

Bought this cart for my mom. She uses a walker to get around. She uses the cart to bring her meals from her kitchen counter to her dining table. She just pushes it along using it as both a walking aid and a means of carrying her meals.

We purchased for what is probably a non-standard use. Son was in hospital for a year and while there baths were given on a rolling cart. He just came home and we wanted our set-up here to be similar so we purchased this after learning it's measurements would allow for a large infant tub to rest on the top. The lower shelf holds his dirty laundry and a basket of shampoos, etc. We are pleased with the quality and pricing. There seem to be plenty of options charging alot more $$ yet this seems sturdy enough. It is a tad hard to roll straight, and turn, have used on hardwood and a rug, but it certainly is mobile. I wish it were a little higher, I expected it to be more waist height but it's more upper thigh for average height adults. I would purchase this again as the price and quality hit the right balance for me. So far the tub set-up is working good! Assembly was fine and it's not so big that we can't push it out of our way when not in use.

The cart was received with 2 small dents in the tray folds it looks like the package was opened and resealed.

It's a utility cart so I'll keep it but I was not satisfied,

I had a red Northern Industrial cart which I lost in a fire and had to buy this one. It is ok for the price and sturdy enough but all FOUR wheels swiveled on the red one making it much easier to handle in tight places. This one is like a grocery cart and requires a bit more back and forth effort to get it placed correctly and the turning radius is wider. In addition, while it does not show well in the photo, the bolt heads for the wheels stick up into the bottom shelf. Unless they have changed the design to a domed shape the hex head sometimes make loading the bottom shelf fussy.

I bought this cart to use for a table top bbq grill. works great, was easy to assemble. would recommend.
