This is a beautifully illustrated book about the fish, tackle and tactics for catching the fish. I would recommend this book for the person wanting to start hunting these monsters. I gives the beginner musky hunter good insight into the tackle needed, proven presentations, and behaviours of the fish. Although there are more detailed references available, I believe this is an excellent starting point for the person serious about (or seriously considering) fishing for musky.

This book is an excellent book full of valueable information that is helpful both to beginners and veteran fisherman. The pictures are great and the presentation is excellent.

This is a good comprehensive book on Muskie fishing tactics for beginners and intermediate anglers. It is a little outdated on the boating equipment sections but the lure information still holds true. I especially like the section on where to look for them in different types of lakes. I recommend this this book to everyone.

This was a good hands-on look at the exciting hobby of muskie/pike fishing. The full color photos showing exactly what type of water or cover to target these fish in was superior to other books that have simple hand drawn black and white sketches.

The Freshwater Angler books have been a favorite since being a young adult. The books always possess a lot of nice pictures and good data. If this book is paired with In-Fishermen articles then a knowledge base increases dramatically.
