Northern Star is probably one of the better albums of the day. All of the songs are great. On a lot of albums, there are songs that just do not get your attention. That is not the case with this album. If you want fast pace, slow pace, it is all there. My boyfriend loves this cd and unfortunatley you have to give credit, where credit is due...........I really love it as well....

This album is definitely one of my personal favourites if not the favourite. It truly has a wide range of styles and Melanie C. definitely nailed all the tracks with her incredible voice. The ballads are very sensual with an unmistakable touch of raw emotions. The more rock tracks(Ga Ga, Goin' Down) are fantastic. Besides these we've got other outstanding tracks like Why and Feel the Sun, both of which easily and naturally reach into your soul and just grabs you. Northern Star is a must-have for anyone looking for great music.
