This video contains a broad array of good basic information on gas welding. Especially usefull are the clear and very close up shots of the weld pool during welding. I would have liked more on achieving full penetration welds as well as inspection and testing of completed welds. The production budget was obviously pretty low but then again this videos purpose isn't to dazzle but to convey useful information which it does pretty well. Be warned that Northern's shipping for this tiny little item is truely exorbitant!

I was going to buy this and the others but when I say that the shipping is 33% of the purchase cost essentially making this 42 minute DVD cost the better of $32 (Blue Ray DVD prices) I figured forget it. Come on Northern...a first run movie on DVD only runs around $24.95 and gets free shipping to boot!!
I don't mind paying a fair price but to be goughed........ |
