Works great for bottling up beer or kefir soda pop! :)

It really doesn't matter, it isn't working like it should so I'm going to have to buy another one.

By the end of the bag of caps my caps did not seal and I broke some neck bottles.

Bottle cappers are difficult to find. They are sometimes carried at specialty stores like Wine and More. The Black Beauty works. Capping bottles is a simple process. This capper for the price is ok. I would prefer a more rugged design. Using higher quality materials. I have wine openers that are manufactured with machined or cast and polished aluminum for 5 more bucks. Long story short it works now but due to the plastic construction I don't think it will last a long time with frequent use.

I like this product because it is easy to use. I do not have a great deal of strength in my hands, but I find I can manage this capper relatively easily. I would recommend it to a friend.

Got it in the mail and it worked great. Used this bottle my homebrew beer. When you use it make sure it is level on the bottle and push all the way down to secure the cap. The first couple weren't too pretty.

I did buy this one and wished I would have read more reviews. I used this for one gross bag of caps (144). Hard at first to use then got better. By the end of the bag of caps my caps did not seal and I broke some neck bottles.

Bought this to bottle my first batch of beer. I used the shorter Boulevard beer bottles and it worked great for me. I lent it to a friend, and he was using the same size bottles and 6 of his ended up breaking...we are not sure if the bottles were from a defective 6-pack or if he was doing something else wrong. I don't think it feels flimsy at all as some have said. It is plastic, but if it were metal it would probably cost twice as much. I figure that the price is right for someone like me just starting out; if I am still brewing in a few years and it breaks, I will upgrade to a more expensive capper.

This product works well with long neck bottles. Franciskaner Weisber (sp?) worked the best. Don't use short necks like Woodchuck as the neck WILL PROBABLY break off during opening and cut your fingers. Its all about finding the right bottle. Also, you know you got a good seal when there is circular indention in the top of the cap.

The capper works great, but it's not that durable. When new, it's a little stiff and takes more effort to work. But, after a case or so break-in period, it works very well. After about 9 or 10 cases (approx. 220 caps), mine shows signs of getting ready to break. Several of the pivot points seem to be getting loose, and after just finishing my latest batch, I was worried whether this would last through the 36 bottles I had to cap. It did, but it took more effort to ensure the caps were going on straight. I have ordered a new, all-metal one to have before my next batch.

I used it to cap a small batch of homebrew and it worked great, no complaints. It's plastic but feels very sturdy.
