This review is from: The Northwest Nature Guide: Where to Go and What to See Month by Month in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia (Paperback)
While I agree with the other reviewer that BC coverage is limited, you won't be disappointed with the coverage of Oregon and Washington! In addition to where to go and what to see, this book will help you understand what you are seeing. I highly recommend this book to any nature lover, especially those of us in the Northwest who like to get out during all seasons.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative!, October 21, 2010
This review is from: The Northwest Nature Guide: Where to Go and What to See Month by Month in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia (Paperback)
I live in the Portland, OR area and found this book very informative. It covers a wide variety of plant, birds, and animals as well as sprinkling of information about geology, weather, history, public policy, etc. Reading it feels like you are on a guided nature hike with a chatty guide who effortlessly shares his knowledge. Definitely a great read and resource for those who live in the Pacific NW who want to know more about the nature that surrounds them and who want to get out and about any month of the year. As I read it I was continually amazed at what an easy read it is and how much information is packed in those pages! Excellent resource.

James Luther Davis, I got this book for my 44th. I love it. I've been trying to scrape together notes on events that take place in Washington and Oregon. This is much better. This is a guide to the wonderful treats God has given us, if we care to appreciate them.
Thank you!
