THE PERSON RECEIVING THIS BOOK AS A GIFT WAS VERY HAPPY TO HAVE THIS INFORMATION AVAILABLE WHILE ON HIKING AND BACK PACK TRIPS.

I'm a Master Gardener in Snohomish County, Washington, so reference books like this are very
valuable to me, especially in clinics when clients want answers! The pictures are excellent and large enough to make comparison to actual plants. I would have given the book 5 stars except more pictures showing foliage as well as the flowers would be very helpful.

If you garden, and you live where there is wind this book is a must to figure out just what is coming up in your garden. The pictures are clear, and the descriptions help you know just what you are having to do.

Really answers the question "When is a weed not a weed". A good book just to plow through for information, with excellent illustrations.
