David Coverdale's second solo album is an unexpected gem!!! Produced by Roger Glover (Deep Purple) songs like "Keep On Giving Me Love" and "Breakdown" (My favorite) demonstrate the continuing passion and emotion that Coverdale exhibited with Deep Purple and continued on in Whitesnake. Check out songs "Northwinds" and "Only My Soul" showing that Coverdale is a master of the lighter, rythym and blues style in addition to the harder hitting anthems that he is known for. Fans of Deep Purple and Whitesnake, this album is a must! Not only does this recording make a great companion to his first solo album, it completes it.
