This version comes on a USB flash drive so it is no sweat to install on a netbook, most of which lack a CD drive so you don't need a external drive. Also, much cheaper to buy this way. I saved $35 over subscribing using the installed trail version that came on my netbook. Also, the trial version was buggy and failed to load on start up about 50% of the time.

This product is great for netbooks. Netbooks don't have disc drives so this coming on a USB flash drive is very useful and convenient! Thank you Norton!

I got mine from overstockmedia and is exactly like the picture, when you install it you register for a Norton account and mine says that I have 2 PC's left.
