This version comes on a USB flash drive so it is no sweat to install on a netbook, most of which lack a CD drive so you don't need a external drive. Also, much cheaper to buy this way. I saved $35 over subscribing using the installed trail version that came on my netbook. Also, the trial version was buggy and failed to load on start up about 50% of the time.

This product is great for netbooks. Netbooks don't have disc drives so this coming on a USB flash drive is very useful and convenient! Thank you Norton!

I got mine from overstockmedia and is exactly like the picture, when you install it you register for a Norton account and mine says that I have 2 PC's left.

I purchased this software. It works great. My netbook is protected and haven't had any viruses or intrusions. My only complaint is the software is set up for auto-renewal at installation. Norton may automatically charge your card for a subscription at renewal (if you've purchased directly from Symantec in the past). It sounds convenient, right. HOWEVER, the cost of a renewed subscription can cost more than just buying updated software. So if you're on a budget like myself, you may have to go to the Norton site, log in, and change this option on your order. For this reason, I give this product 4 stars.

When they call it a netbook edition, they mean it.
I had expected having a antivirus on my netbook to slow it down and such. But to my surprise, I did not even notice a difference. If you own a netbook and looking for an antivirus product, this is the one you want.

When my the anti-virus protection on my Netbook needed to be renewed, I searched Amazon to see what bargains I could fine before I automatically renewed my Kaspersky Netbook Security Suite. That's when I discovered that there wasn't a current version of Kaspersky made especially for a Netbook anymore. Personally, I prefer Norton products and was hoping that there might be a Norton 360 version for Netbooks. Instead, I found Norton Internet Security Netbook 2010. Since it's a Norton product and the price was excellent, I bought it. It was a perfect replacement for Kaspersky and unlike Kaspersky, it does it's thing without interfering with my use of the computer. If you have a Netbook, I'd highly recommend this product.

First, this Norton Internet Security is best they have in years. Second, this version comes on a 2gb usb key for easier install on small netbooks that don't have a cd or dvd drive. I bought for my small Eee PC.

I have to return my copy because the software is for one netbook only. The $69.00 list price and the picture of the product is for 3 netbooks. The add is very deceiving. I have notified Amazon so hopefully they will correct the product description. The vendor, Galactics, has been very helpful with there response and I would do business with this company. Just a bad product description and list price got through the cracks. Hope this helps the next customer.
