I'm taking a shakespeare class, and bringing one of these books to class is much more convenient than carrying the giant onionskin all in one version.

The page numbers are of course different, but the pages are laid out exactly the same and contains the same introductory material as the one book version.

Definitely worth the extra 15 dollars this version cost, and it looks prettier on my bookshelf.

I needed this for college and it's a splendid collection. The introductions are wonderful and the footnotes and glosses extremely helpful.

I needed these books for a college class. I ordered from a textbook site and received one book for $51. This set is such a better value and I LOVE Shakespeare!

I owe an apology to the young lady that sold this book to my daughter, Elysse Yulo who did not write the previous review. I said in an early review that we never received the book that we purchased. She did in fact mail the book on time to our home, which was 1/5/11 & we just received the book today 2/22/11! One month & a half later! The book is damaged due to two things: 1) the book was wrapped in thin paper, instead of a box & 2) because is was not wrapped properly, the post office damaged the book & the outer wrapping cut off part of the zip code. Amazon credited us the full amount of $27.99. I felt the fair thing to do was to pay $20 to the seller since we might not be able to sell it ourselves because it is damaged. Also my daughter's class is half over. So in closing, this was not entirely her fault & I hope she appreciates that I was honest enough to call & report that I did receive the book.

The book was in really good condition and I got it on time. I recommend.
