Born in Ohio but did most of my growing up in North Andover, Massachusetts. Graduated from Norwich University's Corps of Cadets in 1993 and served on active duty in U.S. Army (2nd Infantry Division and 82nd Airborne). Worked in sales/marketing for a few years (pharmaceuticals and technology) prior to teaching. Lived and taught in the Dominican Republic for 6 years. Returned to Norwich University and earned a Master's Degree in 2007 (Diplomacy and International Terrorism). Now I live in Massachusetts where I speak, write, and teach History/Political Science/Terrorism related courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.

A must read for anyone with a connection to Norwich University. Lots of great stories and background information surrounding some of the most prolific legends in Norwich history. It's a quick read that brought back great memories from my time on the Hill.
This book is a must read for present Norwich Cadets and Norwich alumni. Randy's research provided great insight to Norwich's rich history-- things our Rook Book never told us! It is certainly a book I will read more than once.
"The Best of the Best! 5 Star in every way!" This book provides the history and answers to questions asked by members of the Corps from past to present. Those stories we all heard in our long ago days of Rookdoom are finally answered, and done so in an entertaining and informative manner. A book you will NEVER regret having taken the time to read! ESSAYONS!
I must say, I was wondering what all the fuss was about. Good job, Randy Miller. He brings us a short history of Norwich University, the Military College of Vermont, that is delightful and fascinating.
I recommend it for anyone that likes History. Heck, you will like this even if you had never heard of Norwich.
