This book was recommended to me by my breeder as the "go to" book for Norwich Terriers. I found it well-illustrated and extremely informative. It covers topics such as the history of the breed, what to get prior to your puppy's arrival, training tips, and development benchmarks. Our Norwich is now 3 months old and we refer to it often. - CTM

I recently purchased the book entitled "Norwich Terrier, A Comprehensive Owner's Guide" and was very pleased with the information contained within this book. After placing a deposit on a Norwich Terrier puppy, I wanted to learn as much about the breed as possible. I purchased several books, but none was as complete and comprehensive as the above captioned title. I am now fully prepared to properly care for my new puppy!

Out of the three dog books I purchased and the online session's . This book has given me the most through knowledge and reference on Terrier's. As well as there stages of development.

I adopted my first Norwich nine months ago, a 5-year-old female. I hoped this book would give me tips on grooming (hand-stripping), and information on health problems specific to the breed, particularly Upper Airway Syndrome.

I was disappointed that it contained neither. The section on health is boilerplate, not specific to the Norwich at all. There is nothing at all on hand-stripping -- information on grooming is about brushing them regularly.

It's obvious these "kennel club" books are cranked out en masse, with the name of the breed replaced and very little that is breed-specific other than the standard and history.

I will not be keeping this book, as it has no value to me.
