This Review is based strictly on my memory from roughly 44 years ago.

This movie was filmed during the Vietnam War and I saw it new at a (then) local drive-in around 1970 and haven't saw it since. It was a pretty good follow up movie for True Grit's Glen Campbell & Kim Darby. I also remember several other Big Names in Norwood. Joe Namath & Pat Hingle were just two (of course Joe is with Glen in this Cover Photo).

What I'm trying to say is: If I can fondly remember the name of a 44 year old movie like Norwood I saw new and haven't saw it since: that's a good sign that it was a good movie: and it was (to me anyway).

I know Glen is now in his 70's with Alzhiemers Disease (the same disease that my mother had) but he will always be a youthful young man in True Grit & Norwood. While True Grit is easily avaliable on VHS, DVD & Blue Ray in the John Wayne Section: sadly Norwood is not!

Glen Campbell acting in True Grit gives me hope. He must have had some acting lessons in between movies
This is a much better role for him. I think this a nice little movie for GC fans and some good songs as. I also
think Kim Darby was sexy in the movie. If I was there I would have changed my ticket too.

This movie has a good story, the performers are all likeable, who wouldn't like Glen Campbell, Joe Namath, Carol Linley, and the rest of the cast. If nothing else, this movie is worth watching to see the scenery and hear the soothing voice of Glen Campbell. The music is great, Me and My Guitar, Marie, Paint Me a Song, even the title song of Norwood. It's one of those movies that I can watch over and over. Good movie when you don't want to think, just set back and enjoy.

This film features Glen Campbell playing his guitar, singing, and somewhat acting. Although Glen comes across as believable in his character role, his acting skills are lacking. The beauty of this movie is the music and the slice of Americana.

Cute story. Delightful music! Fun and relaxing movie. Highly recommend! A must see for Glen Campbell fans. They don't make movies like this anymore.
