Product Description

Size: 1-ct

Nosefrida Baby Nasal Aspirator (lovingly referred to as 'The Snotsucker') is a BPA-Free nasal aspirator that is designed to remove mucus from your baby's airways without damaging delicate mucous membranes. Traditional bulb syringes can mistakenly be inserted too high into a baby's nose, causing irritation and even bruising to the mucous membranes leading to inflammation and further blockage of the airways. Each Nosefrida 'Snotsucker' includes 4 replacement hygiene filters, PLUS an additional 20 hygiene filters. Nosefrida is a doctor recommended nasal aspirator and so easy to use. Nosefrida was invented in Sweden by Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, and has been used by Swedish Moms and Dads for years. Nosefrida is effective and hygienic and has been clinically tested. Made By: Nasalprodukter AB Made In: Sweden Made Of: BPA & Phthalate Free, Latex-Free Polypropylene

Works so much better than those bulb syringes!

Some people seemed grossed out at this idea, but I think it's great and it has worked very well!

The amount of snot you can get out with this thing is simply amazing.

No, seriously, just buy this thing. It sounds gross but WOW does it work. The bulb syringe just pisses the baby off and does absolutely nothing in terms of clearing their nose. This thing also pisses my baby off, but it actually gets the snot out. And believe me, when your baby has a cold and can't nurse, won't sleep and nothing will work, you will be very grateful for this item. Many mom friends of mine have rejected the thought of this thing until their little one gets all stuffed up -- then they call me "What was the name of that thing? I NEED one!" Disgusting, but oh so satisfying. I wish I had one of these with my older two kids.

The other thing is that I never felt like the bulb syringe was clean. I mean how do you wash the inside? With this I know I've rinsed all the funk out. It's really a great item. Just buy it.

I got this snot sucker based on the other Amazon reviews and I have not been disappointed. My daughter recently came down with her first cold and I found myself in need of a good snot sucker. I was using the bulb syringe that I was given at the hospital- it seems to be getting some mucus, but I felt like there was still a lot in her nose that could come out. The Nosefrida has been much more effective at removing mucus from my baby's nose, or at least it seems like it.

The Nosefrida seems a little gross when you first look at it- it seems like you'll be sucking snot right into your mouth! Once you use it, though, you realize that you would have to collect a lot of mucus in the large tube before it would even reach the filter and tubing. I haven't used a motorized aspirator, but it seems like the Nosefrida would have the advantage of having more suction (at least when I do it) and it doesn't have a noisy motor. One thing that I love about this aspirator is that you can see all the mucus you get in the tube. Sounds gross, but it is very satisfying to see all the progress you've made and to know that you've removed it from your poor baby's nose. Then it is very easy to clean- just remove the collection tube from the smaller tubing, run under warm water, and a little soap. Done.

My daughter hates the aspirator, of course. She hates anything that involves cleaning, wiping, or otherwise messing with her face. She's a baby- this is to be expected. So I don't base my review of this product on her reaction. I love it, and deep down I know she appreciates me getting the snot out of her nose.

Love it, and you can use tissues if you run out of filters and are in a rush. It gets out a lot of yucky.

I wish I would have known about Nosefrida with my first child. This product is easier to use and seems less invasive than the normal nasal aspirator. I highly recommend this to anyone.

My son got a cold at 3 monts old. I had a good bulb suctioner that I had for my first born. She never liked it but it did the job. But with my son he would scream like we were pouring boiling water on him. At the sight of it he would get hysterical to the point he would immediately poop and vomit. He was so stuffed up he was gagging on his own snot. I would start to cry becaue I had to 'snarkle' him (the name we used for scutioning him). Having to insert the bulb mulitple times on both side was so tramatic that he would sob. shake and cling to us for a long time after we were done.
We ordered the snot sucker (used the one day shipping-it was soooo worth it). He still cries when we use it but no were near as much and his cry isn't the same frantic I-am-being-tortured scream. It works great. It is a little nasueating and if you have a low gag reflex it is a challange but I can tolerate it because I know that it is saves my baby a lot of pain. Being able to see what is coming out is very good because you can tell how much is coming out also you can see what color it is (clear or milky is normal, green can mean an infection). Being able to control the suction is great and grossly is oddly satisfying. Buy the snot succer-it is worth every cent!

Unfortunately, we didn't find out about this until recently. We are currently pregnant with our second child and had a terrible time using a bulb syringe on our first, who had/has struggled with allergies that made it difficult for him to nurse or sleep. We ordered this to have on hand after baby arrives but yesterday our three year old came down with a head cold that is producing copious amounts of snot. While he sort of knows how to blow his nose, as he's been choking and coughing to the point of throwing up, we didn't think he was doing as well as he could. In a fit of inspiration we decided to try the Nosefrida on him. Wow! I can't believe how well it works. My husband and I agree it is very satisfying to use because you can know for sure you're making a difference. Our son will now offer his nose to us if we come at him with the Nosefrida, so apparently he appreciates how well it works too. Highly recommend! Even if you aren't expecting a tiny one, I'd recommend getting one for your toddler/preschooler...well worth it.

I put this on my Amazon baby registry, and imagine that... no one got it for me!

I bought this for myself...and since then, I've decided this is going to be my gift of choice for baby showers! It's an awesome gift for ANYONE. At first, I was hesitant about buying it for people who I know are squeamish when it comes to "gross" things...like...sucking snot out of their baby's nose... But no need to worry.

The snot doesn't even come one bit close to the filter when you use it...at least not visibly. You see that clear/bluish main chamber with the narrowed end (that goes into the baby's nostril)...most of the snot stays in that narrowed end section. And just in case it doesn't, there's that handy dandy filter to protect your taste buds!

I've used this thing MANY times on my little one. And yes, he HATES it! But you know what...he HATES that blue bulb syringe they give you in the hospital just as much! So take your pick. Tick off the baby and get out the boogers w/ this amazing nosefrida... or tick off the baby...over and over again because that blue bulb syringe thing just isn't working...

It's great when your baby has a simple runny nose. I've discovered that it also works real well even when your baby has all those hard crusties in there...like my teething tot does now in the cold winter months. The opening is big enough to suck out the chunkies too.

It's been a cinch to keep clean and sterile. After every use, I rinse it in hot water, and all the gunk cleans right out...especially with my sink sprayer if I need a little extra water pressure. And then every now and then, I sterilize it. It's also very easy to clean the rest of it too.
