My morning was ruined when I went to use this for the 2nd time. It just simply stopped working. The red light came on when plugged in, but the heating coils weren't working. With a heavy heart, I pulled out the frying pan to make pancakes instead. Those pancakes tasted of my tears and shattered dreams.

This product is so much fun and makes almost perfect waffles and even french toast. I say almost because I am not a great cook lol. But, it does come with tips and portion instructions to make a good batter. sticks to poke through the waffles if you want them for kids. I am a big fan of breakfast so buying this was a must to just check it out. Of course if you are in the habit of buying all these products that like to take cabinet space just to use one time (i.e. a juicer, meat loaf maker, brownie corners etc.) then this isn't for you. You can stick to buying the ones you put in a toaster or microwave. Otherwise enjoy the food!

I really like this waffle maker! I wish it was faster! It makes great waffles. Takes a little while for only getting five small waffles. That's the only problem. Took us a little while to figure out how much batter to use to get the perfect waffles without any leakage...but not too long. We haven't used sticks yet...maybe later. What I like best is that it makes flat old fashioned waffles and not fat belgian waffles. You can't believe how hard that is to find!! I like crisp thin waffles! This makes them perfectly!

This grill works very nicely. It has basic features, but it does it's job well and is well constructed and the bonus is the removable grills!

I found the breakfast treats maker to be rather messy, mainly because I couldn't quite figure how much mix to put in it.
The end result was that mi grand kids like the little waffle sticks, so I will keep practing.

I am having so much fun with this! It is a bit tedious to clean, but oh the fun of making guilt-free, HEALTHY Paleo gluten-free waffles! This machine heats up fast, and you can heat up the waffles in about 4 to 5 minutes. (It varies with recipes.) You can have a lot of fun experimenting with and tweaking recipes. You can make a bunch of waffles and warm them in the oven for later use.

You COULD make pancakes, but then you miss the fine classic texture of waffles. Plus the syrup fits in the little indented spaces and saturated the waffles, rather than running all over the plate as with pancakes. I use yacon root syrup instead of maple syrup. This is a super food and low glycemic, so fit for diabetics--and feeds the good bacteria, as well. (It is also expensive, but worth it.)

Here is an example recipe (strawberry waffles):
1½ cups oats or almond flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
¾ cup stemmed and sliced organic strawberries
¼ cup coconut oil or butter, melted
2 large eggs
2 T honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
Blend and pour in; makes about 13 of these little waffles

This waffle maker is great if you have children. It takes a little longer than a normal waffle maker to cook, but it is worth it because children love them. Also the extra option to bake french toast sticks is a plus!
