Great Poet Leaves A Legacy,
By Robert Bluestone (Santa Fe, NM USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Nostalgist's Map of America: Poems (Paperback)
Agha Shahid Ali's place as one of the most significant poets of the late twentieth century is assured by the body of work he has left us. This book is an excellent example of the variegated shades of nuance Shahid was capable of producing. We can be grateful for the work he left us: it provides some solace for those of us who were lucky enough to know him.

Good but I was really knocked over by his book, 'The Country Without a Post Office'. Read that one first.
