Editorial Reviews

Berlin-based dark electro legend Dance Or Die
returns! On Nostradamnation, members Wagner
and A.N.G.O. (joined by Chris L. from Agonoize
live) combine dark atmospheres with massive
beats, deep vocals, aggression, and melody in
their unique way.
The group s sinister, dance-floor-compatible
visions of impending apocalypse stand out from
the faceless crowd of bland carbon copies that
make up the electro scene. Nostradamnation marks
the impressive return of a band that, in the 90s,
provided a link between the gothic and electro
scenes like no other, and whose unique fusion
of styles left a distinct imprint on the club music
of the time. Even now, two decades after the
group s debut, Dance Or Die s sound is fresh,
original, and unmatched.
The new album is released as a double CD. The
first disc contains 15 brand-new classics, while
the bonus disc features club-compatible remixes
of some of the band s cult classics (by Solitary
Experiments and Miss Construction, to name but a
few). Tracks like Psychoburbia and the seminal
Dance Or Die still mandatory spins at EBM
clubs are presented in altogether new light.
Dance the Apocalypse, baby!
RIYL: And One, X Marks The Pedwalk, Syntec.

Finally something without too many guitars and something that sticks to the Front 242 style. If you had Physcoburbia and were waiting for a new release this is the one for you. Buy it you will not be dissapointed. Thanks Dance or Die. I wish there was more like this cd - Similiar to Clan of Xymox and a nice edgy feel. Makes me reminiscent of X marks the Pedwalk, Ringtailed Snorter and other great bands that have vacated the scene.

Totally awesome album, had never heard of these guys before but I am sold now I will be going back and purchasing all their previous albums. This album has an old school industrial/ebm feel to it in the vein of Project Pitchfork meets Decoded Feedback. The dudes voice reminds me at times of both Andrew Eldritch of Sisters of Mercy and Peter Spilles of Project Pitchfork. Good stuff buy the album like now damn it!!!
