I saw Stephanie for the first time at Winterjam '09 in Columbus, Ohio.
I had just got seated (pretty early I thought), and Stephanie came onstage. I had never seen or heard of her, except that Toby Mac recommended her for the tour. Well, it only took 10 seconds of the song she opened with (which I beleive was 'Beauty' - remember I had never heard any of her stuff now), to know that this was going to be something else. And I was correct. A beautiful blend of pop rock, melodious, and fearless vocals filled the arena. So, I bought the album, and her book. The album is nothing less than I expected. A talented new Christian female pop artist carving gorgeous new sounds into present time. I mean, she reminded me of 'the great' Krystal Meyers right away. The album has some great messages for the youth of the world, and me too (old man, haha). I recommend this album as a must have for your collection. I'm still replaying replaying replaying, and it is still new after about 100 trips to work and back. I have yet to read her book, and look forward to it as I saw a sections of the book talks about each song individually and the history of it in her eyes. So, I'll be ready after all the replays. God Bless!
