5.0 out of 5 stars Korean War Vet Must Read, September 8, 2010
A Kid's Review
It is the true story of a combat veteran's experiences in the trenches of the Iron Triangle during the final days of the Korean War, also known as the Korean Conflict. Nicholas Dick, Jr.'s, acccount of being drafted at the tender age of 20, going through boot camp, and finally stepping ground in Korea on Inchon, feeling like John Wayne, as he was headed to Outpost Tom, is a riveting story.

His experiences at Outpost Harry give you a front close and personal account of what it means to be in hand-to-hand combat.

So little has been written about the final days of the Korean War. Nicholas Dick, Jr. takes you there and keeps you there.

His words are an honest account of what it means to go to war and live with war. It is also a story of the final days of the Korean War that so sorely needs more attention.
