5.0 out of 5 stars More of the title track, please.
While many t.A.T.u fans have been captivated by their world wide hit single 'All The Things She Said' I believe it's time to move onto. So what could t.A.T.u possibly have in store for us next? Will it live up to the first single? We'll see.

3.0 out of 5 stars Equally balanced with decent music and just the opposite
The first two songs on this single are the best. I've always liked the original version of 'Not Gonna Get Us' -- with it's powerful music and fast-paced drum beats, it gets you going in a hurry. While many t.A.T.u fans have been captivated by their world wide hit single 'All The Things She Said' I believe it's time to move onto. So what could t.A.T.u possibly have in store for us next? Will it live up to the first single? We'll see.

Radio Version:

The single starts off with the edit of the original version. It's a bit shorter than the album version, however, it shouldn't really make a difference to most people. Unlike you like the drum solo at the end, like I do.

Dave Aude's Extension 119 Vocal Edit

Dave Aude is the guy behind the extension remixes for the debut single, and here he comes again remixing the next single for t.A.T.u. This remix is good if not better than the remix for All The Things She Said. While many remix fans tend to like different sounding remixes, Dave Aude stuck more closely to the original and keep it's techno beat going on. A good remix, unfortunately it's presented only in edit form and not in extended version which I thought should be including in any decent single.

All The Things She Said 'DJ MONK after skool special'

With only two versions of the title track, we're presented with bonus remixes of the debut single. This track is basically a dance instrumental track that I'm sure most people wouldn't enjoy unless that person likes house music. The music sounds good however, it does not feature all the vocals. In fact, only 'I've Lost My Mind' is repeated throughout the song. Kinda boring, but fun at the same time.

All The Things She Said 'BLACKPULKE Mix'

This mix is interesting, but certainly not the best. Best avoidable because of it's moaning and groaning during one part of the song, that's reminiscent to a pornographic movie. It has an electro clash type of music, either fast nor slow. But somewhat danceable.

Not Gonna Get Us 'VIDEO'

Like many t.A.T.u Cds, it has a music video included for 'Not Gonna Get Us.' I like this addition because it makes the single worthwhile. A great music video, very different from 'All The Things She Said.'

Overall, I feel this CD is only for hardcore fans. Casual fans and the like, should keep away from singles and just enjoy their full lenght album '200 KM/H IN THE WRONG LANE.'

Remix lovers are advised to purchase the single if you like the songs enough, but I feel there should have been more remixes for the title track instead of two remixes of the previous single.

yes! this is what I expect from a great group like tATu on a single CD. You get 4 tracks on this one and the CD includes the "not gonna get us" quicktime video that you can play on your computer. The first track is the regular version of "not gonna get us". The second track is a slightly more dance and bass version of "not gonna get us" that I love. The third track is a very techno type beat that is supposed to be "all the things she said", but I dont see it. I didnt like the 3rd track to much, but the last track is the best! Its a really awesome slow bass remix of all the things she said. It sounds excellent and includes some sexual panting at the end. Im not sure if the panting was tATu or something they dubbed in from a porno, but you dont want it up to loud if anyone is home. With those tracks combined with a great video of "not gonna get us", this CD is a must have and a great addition to the full alblum.

I can understand both russian and english, so i really get the best of both worlds with this group.

The cool thing about thier music, is even if you cant understand the russian version of the songs, they still sound great.

Ive been listening to this group since 2000, when there werent even big in russia.

5.0 out of 5 stars They're Not Gonna Get Us, February 22, 2004

This review is from: Not Gonna Get Us / All the (Audio CD)
After the worldwide success of "All the Things She Said", t.A.T.u. decided to release a 2nd single with less reassurance, and I like it. While "All the Things She Said" was a love story where neither girl was quite sure of herself or her love, "Not Gonna Get Us" is about nothing but unconditional love and escaping the world around them.

1// "Not Gonna Get Us"- This is much like the NGGU on 200 km/h, but certain parts are connected and shortened. It is really good if you are in a hurry and don't have time to listen to a 4 minute+ song.

2// "Not Gonna Get Us 119 Vocal edit"- Superb. There is a great amount of emotion shouting from this music. This is the song at its most dramatic.

3// "All the Things She Said DJ Monk After School Special"- I don't know what to say. It sort of grows on you and starts out fun, but "I've Lost My Mind" and the same annoying beat are played throughout the song. It can be fun when you have absolutely nothing else to do.

4// "All the Things She Said BlackPulke Remix"- The first time I heard it, I hated it, but it slowly grew on me. The orgasms in the middle are a little much, and I don't believe that that or the "yeah" are either of the girls. This remix takes the depression out of "All the Things She Said" and makes into a fun jazzy song.

5// "Not Gonna Get Us video"- A nice video. Not the best t.A.T.u. video, but it's still fun to watch the girls climb atop the truck and such. I especially like the glass-breaking effect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Its still hardcore dance, December 27, 2003
This review is from: Not Gonna Get Us / All the (Audio CD)
Tatu's "Not Gonna Get Us" is still hardcore dance for all its mainstream pop idol appeal and many trance and dance fans will not lower their opinion of this track because it is solid techno crossed with the vocals of Tatu.

3.0 out of 5 stars Equally balanced with decent music and just the opposite, May 15, 2003
This review is from: Not Gonna Get Us / All the (Audio CD)
The first two songs on this single are the best. I've always liked the original version of 'Not Gonna Get Us' -- with it's powerful music and fast-paced drum beats, it gets you going in a hurry. Literally. (try driving down the freeway with it playing) The remix track is beautiful with some greatly amplified chords in the verses and although the chorus isn't as powerful as the original, there's a sweet quality about this version that makes it just as good as the album version. The dissapointment lies in the next two tracks. The third track is a 'All The Things She Said' remix, with the repeated phrase 'I'm losing my mind' played throughout the track. (If you'll recall the direct English translation from the original Russian version of this song is actually 'I'm Losing My Mind') This song lacks in variation and is far too repetitive to be entertaining. A heavy bass plays through it backed by a simple drum beat. There's not much more in this track at all except some distorted techno sounds. The fourth track is just plain tacky, with some dubs of a girl (unknown if it's actually one of the t.A.T.u. girls) having an orgasm. It has some twangy sounds and a heavy bass line, with an interesting second verse version backed by a twinkly sounding keyboard. I find it a bore to listen to (except for the twinkly part) and it reminds me too much of something you'd hear in a bad porn video. The video which is included is a plus, but it only balances this single out. The remix of 'Not Gonna Get Us' is worth it, but if you can, download just that and don't bother getting this single.
