J. A. Rodriguez, Jr. is a senior manager for a Fortune 200 company. He has over twenty-six years of professional work environment experience. The last twenty-one years of experience are in leadership roles of increasing responsibility. His responsibilities extend to the development, deployment, and implementation of strategic plans and programs across the globe; for creating partnerships in new and existing business initiatives; and for supporting billions of dollars worth of active contracts encompassing hundreds of national and international sites.

Prior to his current position, Rodriguez has served in several professional capacities in the areas of Environmental, Health and Safety compliance, Quality Assurance/Performance Excellence and Quality Control, Ethics Compliance, U.S. Department of Defense Security processes, and Engineering Management on a nation-wide technical services contract as a member of the leadership team. He is well versed in the areas of management, engineering, services, construction and emergency preparedness.

Before joining his current employer in January 1989, Rodriguez served as a Senior Engineer in the nuclear power generation industry. While there, he lead a team of professional engineers and subject matter experts in the identification and application of electrical engineering solution sets.

Presently, Rodriguez is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, a professional member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals with a designation of Certified Safety Professional (CSP), a United States Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration Voluntary Protection Program Special Government Employee (SGE), a board member of the Region III Voluntary Protection Program Participants' Association, Inc. (VPPPA), and has passed certification examinations in the area of business continuity planning. Other professional affiliations have included the National Fire Protection Association, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, American Society for Quality, Occupational Safety and Health Administration Outreach Training Program (Construction and General Industry).

Rodriguez holds an Associate in Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Western New England College in Springfield, Massachusetts. In his professional career, he has developed a significant number of comprehensive courses, has personally delivered hundreds of training seminars as an expert instructor and compliance advisor, has managed, mentored, and motivated teams of professionals, has coached and advised company leaders in the technical services, engineering, construction, and manufacturing industries, and has taught college level electronic engineering courses as an adjunct professor.

Rodriguez has demonstrated international expertise in the rehabilitation of enterprise safety performance through the development, implementation and utilization of effective process-oriented management systems. His strategic and tactical methodologies have contributed to significant performance improvements on programs world-wide. He is recognized as a dynamic and motivational speaker and a foremost expert in the areas of construction, electrical engineering, safety and health regulations and compliance, and health and safety legislation analysis.
